“Latin Nights” comes to life in Honolulu
Join our Destination Dining experience through South America right in the heart of Kaka’ako and
help make a child’s wish come true.
Honolulu’s leading urban food event organizer Street Grindz presents
‘Latin Nights’, the second in a series of events that will showcase Hawaii’s favorite food truck chef’s
in fully themed pop-up restaurants. Street Grindz is teaming up with Make-A-Wish® Hawaii to raise
fundstowards granting Wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Street Grindz
is committed to the goal of fully funding a wish through Make-A-Wish HaWaii’s Adopt-A-Wish
program and will continue to work with the organization in future pop-up events.
Power Team Eric Okamura and Windy Aubrey, the owners of Baja Style Food Truck have created an
authentic Latin Tapas menu for 3 nights only. Come see a raw Kal<a’ako Warehouse space transform
into a multi-sensory experience, including a mix of classical Spanish dances and entertainers. The 6
course pre-fixed Tapas menu will include exotic dishes like Tamales con Huitlacoche y Pollo
(tamales filled with corn truffle and smoke chicken). Experience an all you can drink Agua Fresca
bar made fresh with local fruit. Feed your mind, body and soul and help raise money to grant
wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
Latin Nights Pop Up Restaurant will be at the Auahi Business Center (683 Auahi St, Honolulu, Hl 96813). There will
be one seating at 6:30p on Aug 9-11. The event is BYOB and we will have a valet service available.
