Once again, we took the show on the road, and our faithful fans joined us. This month Street Grindz heads over to the Tony Group Autoplex in Waipio. This was our first trip out to this side, and it was a good one.
The day started off being a warm one. It was a beautiful day out in Waipio, and not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, it also meant the sun was beaming right down on us. Fortunately, We had vendors like Bobalicious and Liquid pleasures on hand offering cool drinks to the masses. I cant seem to go a single event without one of these delicious POG Smoothies from Liquid Pleasures.
This time around, there was a ton of entertainment through the event. People gathered around the food trucks and the stage to enjoy live local music and hula performances.
As always, there were over 30 of your favorite food trucks and street vendors, with lots of tasty offerings for our hungry grinderz. Some of the things we got to try.
New vendor, Tripple Js Dank Dogs, were on hand with their “Goons”. Sort of like a Lumpia, but with different kinds of fillings. Beef and cheese, Spicy crab, and even a Buffalo Dog.
Another new vendor, SL2 delectables was there selling their “Chinese Tacos”. Chinese Steamed Bao with different types of filling.
There was also this delicious Pork Guisantes Pot Pie from Sweet Revenge. One of my favorite dishes of the night.
Tony Group Autoplex was on hand taking entries to win a free trip for 2 to Las Vegas. Hopefully you got your entry in. Winner will be announced soon.
The food kept flowing all night long. With your favorite food trucks slanging some of the best dishes this side of the H2.
As did the entertainment, With live performances from Nesian Nine and B.E.T.
