Did you miss Eat The Streets TomatoFest?
This month we asked your favorite food trucks and street vendors to participate in our theme, by incorporating tomatoes into at least one dish. And boy did they.
Crowds gathered at 555 South St to see what our trucks had lined up for them this time around. And they came with some pretty interesting items.
The aloha ice cream tricycle was on hand with those tasty bloody mary popcicles you saw in the preview videos. And to add a little bit of a twist, instead of a regular popcicle stick, kathy made them with a celery stick handle. How creative.
Il Gelato was serving up their creation. A Vanilla Truffle Gelato with Sun Dried Tomato. Definitely an interesting combination.
And thats just to name a couple.
There was also a large arts and crafts retail area hosted by MOMo artists. Lots of local arts and crafts.
