Honolulu’s leading urban food event organizer Streetgrindz.com presents Arabian Nights featuring Chef Youssef of Xtreme Tacos.  This is the first of a series of events that will showcase some of Hawaii’s favorite food truck chefs in fully themed pop-up restaurants.

Chef Youssef will be offering an authentic Arabian POP-UP experience for 3 nights only.  Come see a raw Kaka’ako warehouse space transform into a multi-sensory experience including a mix of classical Arabic Music to Algerian Rai, Belly Dancers, Hookah Lounge and a 5 course pre-fix authentic Arabian menu that will surely tempt your senses and spice your evening.  Seating is very limited so be sure to get your tickets today!!

FIRST
A variety of fresh vegetables

SECOND
Shorbat Adas
(Famous Middle Eastern lentil soup)

THIRD
Hummus
(Crushed garbanzo bean with sesame oil, lemon juice and garlic)
Batata Bi Kizbara
(Fried potatoes with cilantro and garlic)
Falafel
(Spheres of crushed chick peas and spices, deep fried served with sesame sauce)
Tabouleh
(Levantine salad made with bulgur (cracked wheat), tomato, cucumber, finely chopped
parsley, mint, onion, garlic, seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice and salt)

MAIN
Shish Tawook
(Boneless chicken marinated in yogurt, lemon, garlic and spices ,grilled to perfection)
Shish Kebab
(Cubed beef, marinated with Middle Eastern spices, grilled on a skewer)
Lebanese Moussaka
(Aubergine and chickpea stew)

DESSERT
Ma’amoul
(Shortbread pastries filled with dates)

(Authentically prepared “ashta” (condensed milk) layered with fresh bananas and honey)
